Resolved Question: do you have perl in your path?

about 3 years ago, i installed perl then uninstalled it, and now i check my path and i see perl so would you please tell me if perl comes in default with the pc or i can remove it i have php, python, java, ruby installed and some development software, is perl installed with xampp? i am not a perl developer therefore i wounder if i can remove perl from my path and the perl directory from my pc there is a perl directory on my pc, but i didn't install perl, maybe it comes with some software...i don't know...
